Dave Finner Memorial Golf Tournament

Downtown Kelowna Block Party

Join our blue army to create sculptures out of non-perishable food items at this fun celebration downtown Kelowna. WE will be collecting food and funds in support of Feed the Valley with all proceeds to the Central Okanagan Food Bank. The Valley First Community Crew will all be on site painting faces and playing giant jenga.

Butterfly Effect

We are a flutter sponsor at the 7th annual Central Okanagan Hospice Foundation Butterfly Effect, a spectacular butterfly release to honour those we have lost and other special people in our lives. Armstrong Music in the Park

The Lions Gazebo in Memorial Park Armstrong is host to Valley First Music in the Park every Friday. This 10-week summer music series is held rain or shine. Our blue army will be on site and collecting food and funds for Feed the Valley with all proceeds to the Armstrong Food Bank.

We are sponsoring this eight-week music in the park series in Vernon. Join our teams to raise funds for the Vernon Salvation Army Food Bank. Eat to the beat with three food vendors on-site each week and dance on Vernon's biggest dance floor.

We are once again presenting Community Music Tuesdays every Tuesdayin July and August throughout many of Kelowna’s parks and public spaces. Entertainment is family-friendly and suitable for people of all ages and tastes. Performers range from local artists to world-class professionals, performing in a variety of musical genres and styles. Look out for our blue army on site handing out goodies or playing fun games!

72nd Penticton Peach Festival

August 9-11, 2019

We have been sponsoring this event for as long as we can remember. The blue army will join forces with the Penticton Fire Department and Salvation Army Food Bank to raise food and funds for Feed the Valley at the Peter Bros. Grand Parade on Saturday, August 10. Bring twoonies, loonies and non-perishable food items to support this worthwhile cause.

120th Armstrong IPE

We are sponsoring Kids World at the 120th Interior Provincial Exhibition, Horsin' around at the IPE. The Valley First community crew will be offering free face-painting and family friendly games for those attending the fair. We also support the distribution of more than 30,000 tickets to elementary school students in the Okanagan, and the lost and found wrist band program.

The Cops for Kids Ride

Cops for Kids is a charitable foundation that is committed to assisting children that have suffered a medical, physical or traumatic crisis in their young lives. Every year Grant Fletcher, our commercial banking regional manager participates in this grueling ten-day ride, which occurs each year over some very challenging terrain. The riders are driven by their commitment to the young children and their families which the Cops for Kids foundation serve in the southern interior region of British Columbia.
