From supply chain disruptions to labour shortages, COVID-19 has introduced some major challenges to the agricultural industry.
However, it’s also highlighted its resilience and brought renewed awareness to the global importance of agriculture. While 2020 was the year of a pandemic we never saw coming, there are some ways to make things less uncertain ahead.
Our shared roots in agriculture and commitment to help our members and communities flourish, made a partnership with 4-H Club of BC a natural fit. Along with building awareness of agriculture, the 4-H club plays a pivotal role with youth in our communities supporting, inspiring and educating them to be good citizens and reach their full potential.
Our partnership will allow us to support ongoing programming to develop future community leaders through both funding and participation through volunteerism.
Our roots are in agriculture
We’ve been serving our local communities since 1947, when the farming community came together and founded a credit union to meet their unique needs. Thanks to our members and commitment to our remarkable service, we’ve reached over $11 billion in assets and continue to grow.
We help our members and communities thrive
As a financial cooperative, we are member-owned. This means a portion of our profits go back to our members and communities. Like you, we live and work here, so investing in our communities is at the cornerstone of who we are. We are neighbours helping neighbours.
We have local decision-making
From Princeton to Kamloops, we have the best interests of our members and communities at heart. Our decision-makers live here too and will meet you from across the table not from across the country.
